Hays Original Convertable Clutch

Price per Unit (piece): $1450.00

Ask a question about this product

The Hays Convertable Clutch is a revolutionary breakthrough in clutch technology, this clutch replaces the old style lockup clutches that were driven primarily by the rear wheel speed (inner hub) and takes advantage of the wider range of tuning by driving the clutch off engine RPM (outer basket).

Engine Driven Clutch’s represent the latest in clutch technology,as a matter of fact every single entry in NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle utilizes an engine driven clutch setup to obtain clutch tuning that was not possible earlier.

We have developed this technology even further to provide truly what we believe to be the best clutch on the market, absolutely the last clutch you will ever need and purchase.
We analyzed every available lockup and clutch system on the market and created every option and function they offered ,and some they did not offer, into one revolutionary package.

The Convertable Clutch can be used as a:
  • Single Stage Engine Driven Lockup
  • Multi Stage Engine Driven Lockup
  • Slider
  • Hand Clutch

And it can do them independently of each other or ALL AT ONCE.

Yes
now you can have a Slider Clutch and a Hand Clutch at the SAME TIME.

Q: isnt this just a slider with a cable for disengagement?  posted by: Kawi1500Vortex2  1/10/2009 9:53:04 PM
A: One of the methods of setting up the clutch does allow it to function as a rpm activated engagement, with a clutch lever override, although our clutch is unique in that you can set the clutch up to operate off of the clutch lever engagement only like a traditional multi stage lockup. this clutch has been proven to be easier to tune and provide more consistency than other types of lockups and clutch systems.
